(MA) Creative Technologies - Semester 1
Module: Technology for Art Practices

Technology for arts practises was one of my selected modules during the first semester.The program used for the development of the project is called Pure Data, a creative programming language. This module was challenging for me, as I have never coded before. However, this was helpful in expanding my skills and knowledge. The project was supported by a participant's interaction, an Instagram survey for primary research and a critical context report.

Six boomerangs were produced in total, with digital screen recordings of the media symbols overlapping each other, as shown below.

In this scenario, the coloured icons and our necessity to click on them to view their original appearance indicate the insecurity of losing our devices or social media accounts.
