“A CONTEMPORARY DISNEY
PRINCESSES' WORLD”
(MA) Creative Technologies - Semester 1

Transmedia practises was one of my selected modules during the first semester and one of my favourite projects. Since the whole semester was online due to the pandemic, we were unable to create an actual Transmedia project, and thus the work was based on an imaginary storytelling experience and visuals.
The project was supported by the creation of a questionnaire for primary research.
ARTIST INSPIRATION
Gregory Masouras, a Greek illustrator who transforms real-life models into Disney princesses and actors into Disney characters, was the first artist who truly inspired me for this project.
My imaginary transmedia world would be an interactive Netflix series of a contemporary princess’s story, focusing on the equality between the characters.
The story would be based on a detailed story of the five main princesses of Disney, living ordinary lives without stereotypes, with an interactive application role for user experience.
